First grade is a very busy time for our students.  From continuing their reading education to learning about mass behavior to developing their math skills, first graders have a full plate and plenty to occupy their time.  Students get plenty of time to play with their friends and develop social, all the while participating in rigorous academic instruction that provides them with the basis to excel in schools for years to come.


Ms. Blum is one of our famous alumni who has the distinction of teaching in the same classroom in which she experienced first grade.  Although she has only been teaching for a few years, she uses her energy and passion to engage the students provide them with every academic tool that they could use.  She is complemented by Mrs. Haws, a wonderful teacher with years of experience that allow her to reach children of all academic and social levels.  A parent of a child here at the school herself, Mrs. Haws is dedicated to Saint Pius X and all it stands for.
